Pronounced “Hay-mish.” I'm twenty-two years old. Born and raised in Canada; As of July, 2011 I live in the great city of Calgary. I love to read. A lot. Books on design, typography, and physchology, as well as epic fantasy, classic literature, and poetry. I love music to match my mood. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen is the night sky as seen from the foothills of Alberta, deep and full of stars, I get lost.

I'm also a geek. A “web-ninja.” And this is my playground.

So what's a web-ninja, you ask? I suppose it's just a clever term for “front-end developer” or “designer with programming skills” — but I like to think of myself as a web-ninja because, honestly, it sounds more exciting. I love to learn new things, love to experiment, and love the cutting-edge (erm, pun intended).
