With wondering awe…
December 15th, 2009
Hey Everyone! How is December treating you all so far? We’ve been asked in this area to work our hardest for a White Christmas, that is, a Christmas where many people (dressed in white) enter the waters of baptism.
We were fortunate enough to make our own little contribution to that this past weekend, with the baptism of the Parkers! It was a wonderful experience for both of them, and there were lots of members and friends there to show their love and support.

Me, Elder Bellingham, and Elder Zimmerman have a had a great time together here in the Brighton Ward, but alas transfer calls have arrived and Elder Zimmerman is moving on to his second area! He’ll be in the Folsom stake. (Remember Johnny Cash played at the Folsom Prison? Yeah same Folsom!) That will leave me and Elder Bellignham here to work in the area once more. The Three Wise men are no more…
Speaking of Elder Zimmerman he’s getting two epidurals tomorrow and a cortisone (sp?) shot in his back. Not sure how that all fits together, but that’s gonna happen just before he officialy gets transferred in a few days. Fun fun. But yeah, keep him in your prayers!
Oh, before I go I have an important note for everyone. My email address has changed, it is now:
Please use thisĀ email now instead of the old one (hamstu@myldsmail.net) — however the old one will work for a few more weeks and any emails sent there will be forwarded.
Well, Christmas is upon us here in the mission field. So I will not be writing next Monday, but I will on Christmas day. Take care all, and have a very merry Christmas!
Love,
Elder Macpherson
