2010
January 4th, 2010
Happy New Year everybody! Can you believe that 2009 is already gone? My first year as a missionary, just like that. It’s been exciting, new, and sometimes scary, but I’ve made it through. And so far… unscathed.
The last few after-the-holidays weeks have been pretty slow for us, but we’re still working hard. Most of the people that we’re teaching right now really aren’t keeping any of there commitments (like reading the Book of Mormon, or coming to church) and so it’s been a struggle. We’re still praying and searching though, and I know those who are prepared will come.
I’ve really been getting into personal study lately, and I really look forward to that hour that I have every morning to get me boosted and ready for the day. One of the things that the mission asked us to do was take a copy of the Book of Mormon (which they gave us) and mark all the references to Jesus Christ & his attributes in red, and then mark all the references to his Gospel and teachings in another color, like blue or green. Right now I’m going through it, steady but sure, and marking just in Red. It’s really a neat experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested.
So seeing as it’s a new year and all, I thought I’d post an overview of the site visits for the year, which I check every so often. Here’s a graph of the monthly visits:

Kinda cool, eh? But notice how it’s gone down! What’s the deal people? Well, I guess it doesn’t count anyone who get’s the blog through email updates… so that’s probably part of it. But it’s interesting nonetheless.
Well, that’s all the updates for me! I hope everyone is doing okay, Till next time!
Love,
