The day dawn is breaking

Short update! So, first week as a District Leader, lots of fun! I haven’t done everything yet, but so far it’s been enjoyable. I’ll be going on lots of exchanges with missionaries in my district during the transfer, so that’s exciting. I have two spanish missionaries, so I better practice up! I also went to my first Leadership Council on Saturday too, all the Zone Leaders and District Leaders in our mission are at those, along with the Mission President of course. I got to see Elder Alfaro at that meeting! Remember him? He’s the only other missionary that was on the plane with me when I flew to Sacramento. He’s a District Leader now as well, and he’s doing great! I haven’t seen him since I got transferred at the Day of Unity last year. Speaking of which, they’re going to to do another Day of Unity this coming May! I’m super excited about that. They’re awesome. As far as the work goes, we’re pushing along. Things are a little slow right now, but Mike finally came to church this Sunday, which was awesome! I know he’ll have a baptismal date soon. Other than that… Elder Frisby, who just got transferred out, gave me his Liahona bike to have. But it needs LOTS of work. New tires, and the brakes are shot, but I think I can make it work. Thanks for everyone’s love, prayers, and support! Keep it up!
