Just another WordPress weblog
Thank you everyone for following me on my two-year missionary adventure in Sacramento California. This site will remain online forever; as a reminder of the days I spent in the service of God. A reminder of the sad, happy, wet, dry, sweet, painful and the outright crazy. But most of all, a reminder of the love God has for his children. If you're curious what I'm up to these days, please visit my personal site.
Till we meet again,

Me in my MIB halloween costume, October '08.
Chances are, if you’re reading this blog you already know me. But, for the sake of completeness. Here’s a brief summary of my life & interests.
Starting on July 22 1989, the first two or so years of my life were spent in Vancouver (where I was born) and Saskatoon. Though — and this shouldn’t come as a surprise — I don’t remember living in those places at all. Previously my family had lived in Toronto, where my older sister Jasmine was born.
Eventually, we moved again and settled in Cold Lake. Where we lived for ten years, until I was about twelve years old. Cold Lake I remember. It was a small town, mostly known as a base for the Canadian Forces. My dad worked on the base as a meteorologist. I actually remember living in Cold Lake, so it feels like home to me, and I have lots of good friends who live there, and in the surrounding area. Also, since I was homeschooled there, most of these friends were from the Church’s nearest ward we attended in Cherry Grove.
Around 2002 my dad got a job in Montreal, so we packed up, said goodbye, and left. For a few months before we arrived we lived with my aunt and uncle in southern Alberta (Magrath) until we could move into our new house in Montreal. This would have been sometime around July, when most all moving deals go through (don’t ask why… I don’t know)
Of course, we’ve lived here in Montreal ever since.
And I love it.
I continued homeschooling, and in 2006 I got a job as a web designer/developer at Radialpoint in downtown Montreal. I started working part time, to save money for my mission, and eventually I became a full time worker. Radialpoint is a fantastic company to work for. And I have a lot of great friends there. I’m looking forward to coming back in two years time.
That’s my history. As for me personally; well, I love what I do, computers, design, programming, it’s all very appealing to me. I also love to read, mostly fantasy fiction, but I’m very open. Music is another thing I don’t think I could live without, and I tend to be pretty open about that too, so long as it isn’t vulgar or inappropriate. Last, but certainly not least, is the Church. It has had the most profound effect on my entire life, and I would not be who I am today without it.
That’s me. My life. And the next chapter is being written right now.
